Sam Chen has a sharp essay on agent-trace UI. Read it before the Friday onsite, they'll almost certainly ask my opinion on it, and the job posting language ("how do you make a long agent trace legible") is borrowed straight from this piece.

Hiring-manager call went well. Jordan asked about my mentorship approach more than the resume implied they would, they care about it more than the job posting suggests. Lead with the L4→L5 story in the next round.

Recruiter screen done. Maya was warm, didn't push on comp, but said the band is firm. Move forward to HM intro. Don't waste the negotiation move on this round.

From the job posting: "we hire writers." Bring up the essays I've published, link them in the cover letter and the question-4 answer. Not just the link; quote one sentence from each.

Read Anthropic's mission page again before drafting. The Workspaces beta is the most relevant prior work I have, lead the resume and cover letter with it.
